I saw this today on social media and I could not love it more. While the picture associated with the quote references sports I do believe that this is how we should approach all things in life.

I was brought up to believe that it we are going to do something, we need to do it right. That could apply to making your bed, doing the dishes, writing an essay or playing a sport.

I have noticed that I hear myself saying this to the kids all the time, so I guess it’s true what they say, we really do become our parents.

It’s Friday and I talked to a lot of people today who are spent, tired, exhausted and just overall really ready for the weekend.

But I’m glad I saw this one today. It’s a good reminder to me that if I’m going to do something, anything…I darn well better do it right.

So here’s to giving all we got, because if we don’t, we lose it forever.
