Corona Virus Quarantine Day #154, #155, #156: Dorsey Family Cation: August 21, 22, 23, 2020:
This weekend was the annual Dorsey vacation. We didn’t think we would get one in this year but when school got moved to September 8th Grandma scheduled a quick trip to Branson and Table Rock Lake so that the Dorsey family cation could live on.
The kids love to spend time with their cousins and the pictures will tell the story better than I will so here it goes!
Game room fun!
Pool side fun!
Night swim time!
More pool fun. Fletcher must have gone down this slide 500 times.
Mini golf fun! Best part we didn’t even have to leave our house to do it! It’s right on site and the kids loved it!
All the videos of the water trampoline! The kids are so lucky that their daddy is so much fun! Hours of fun here out on the lake!
So much fun!
I love this picture so much. The kids were trying to help their cousins up onto the trampoline (maybe not in the most practical way) but Ellen’s pulling Finley’s leg as he tries to pull his cousin up! Gotta love their initiative.
All the lake activities, kayaking, paddle boarding, paddle boating and fishing! Special time with cousins!
Boat time…Captain Ellen, Fiona and Fletcher. Shout out to Uncle Brent who drove the boat for a solid 10 hours!
Gotta love the little guy with the oldest cousin on the tube!
There was a lot of trash talking happening when the tubing was occurring. All the kids were challenging Uncle Brent to throw them off. The kids often lost that battle…but they did have fun!
All the boat pictures. So much fun had by all!
Love!
Then there was the cliff jumping. Holy moly…not my idea of a good time but the kids sure liked it!
Ellen and the 25 foot jump. Yikes!
Good times had by all!
Fletcher heard about this cliff jumping and he wanted to give it a try. So try it he did. But not before he pretended to be scared so I’d jump off first. I was actually scared. I am not a huge fan of lake water but I’ll do anything for my kids! Mom for the win. Watch for Fletcher’s push…(yes, he tried to push me off the cliff). His first of many jumps follows mine.
This would be Fletcher jumping off the 25 foot cliff. After his first jump was off the small cliff he wasn’t even out of the water before he was screaming “I want to do it again.” A few times later one of his cousins asked him if he was going to go off the tall one. When he got up to the top he told Aunt Laura that he wanted to go off the tall one to which she replied, “are you sure buddy, it’s pretty high.” His response, “It’s fine, it’s not like I’m gonna die.” Please, please, pray for me. This child is crazy town. He did love it and he did do it more than once.
Lots of Zeke and Fletcher pictures. These two are pretty good buddies!
Just hanging around photos!
Group photo!
Sunsets and hot tubs!
Lake life makes us tired!
It was a great time had by all! I’m so glad the kids had fun with their cousins. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for planning it!
Now…I need to go to bed…I’m exhausted!
