Corona Virus Quarantine Day #104: Learning new things: July 2, 2020:
I’m going keep it short and sweet tonight…it’s late and I’m tired. It was a super productive day. The Dorsey’s did a whole house deep clean, played a lot of sports, ran around and got dirty and even learned a new game.
A friend and colleague of mine came over today to teach the kids how to properly play tennis. It was so much fun. I have always wanted to play tennis, but that whole volleyball kind of got in the way.
The kids always play pickle ball in the barn and they are not too bad but I know the whole form thing is not great so…enter Anna Bomhoff.
So here are a few pictures and videos to celebrate this new day in our life. They obviously liked it because after she left they went back down to the barn and practiced some more!
Good times had by all! Shout out to Claire Kearney as well. She’s an amazing babysitter and all around person. She jumped right in and helped Anna run this lesson with 7 children!
Working on our overheads!
Fletcher crushing the ball. He wasn’t interested until we told him he could hit balls at all of us!
If you are looking for someone who is beyond patient, super sweet and kind to kids and knows her stuff to teach your kids to play tennis…my girl Anna Bomhoff is your lady!
It was a fun time!
On another note…one I will write a lot about this weekend I am sure…one of my oldest friends is in town. Sally Shirebell and her two adorable kids came to visit Aunt Jenny and I. We are very excited to spend quality time all weekend with someone we have know most of our lives. No one has a better laugh than Sally or sings a meaner karaoke. Can’t wait to see what shenanigans this weekend will bring!
