- What is the corona virus? The corona virus is bad virus that hurts people and makes them really sick.
- Who is our president? Our president is Donald Trump.
- How long have we been in lockdown? We have been on lockdown for probably like 40 days.
- Do you want school to start back up? Yes, I want school to start back up so we can see our friends again.
- Who is the first person you will hug when this is over? The first person I will hug when lockdown is over will be grandma.
- Where is the first place you’d like to go when this is over? The first place I want to go is Hawaii or Florida.
- How can we get rid of the corona virus? To get rid of corona virus we can wash our hands and clean stuff well.
- Are Mommy and Daddy good teachers? Mommy and Daddy are amazing teachers and I love when they teach us.
- How did the Corona virus start? Corona virus started in China but I don’t know how. I think they may have lied about how bad it was.
- What kind of protective clothing would you wear if you had to wear some? If I had to wear protective clothing to protect me from corona virus I would wear pants and a sweat shirt so it couldn’t touch my body and a mask too.
- Are you enjoying lockdown? Yes, I am enjoying lockdown because we have more time at home and with our family. No, because we can’t go to school and see our friends.
- What is the best thing/snack you’ve eaten during quarantine? The best thing I’ve eaten during quarantine is hard to decide. Pretty much everything mom makes because they are all amazing.
- What is your favorite thing to do during quarantine? My favorite thing to do during quarantine is probably play in the barn.
Cooper Claerhout-Age 10
- What is the corona virus? The corona virus is a sickness that kills people or makes them really sick.
- Who is our president? Our president is Donald Trump.
- How long have we been in lockdown? How am I supposed to know? Like 62 days, I don’t keep track.
- Do you want school to start back up? Yes, I want school to start back up so we can see our teachers and our friends again.
- Who is the first person you will hug when this is over? I don’t know. I guess I would hug my aunts and uncles or grandma.
- Where is the first place you’d like to go when this is over? The first place I want to go is a hockey game.
- How can we get rid of the corona virus? We can get rid of corona virus by telling the doctors to figure out how this all started and how to cure it. We can wash our hands too!
- Are Mommy and Daddy good teachers? Yes, they are great.
- How did the Corona virus start? Corona virus started in China.
- What kind of protective clothing would you wear if you had to wear some? If I had to wear protective clothing to protect me from corona virus I would a camouflage jacket, a blue Nike shirt and some black socks and Under Armour shorts, probably also my Chiefs hat.
- Are you enjoying lockdown? Yes, I am enjoying lockdown because we get to see our family way more, we spend more time together in the barn and play sports, we play at the playground. The bad things about it is that we can’t see our teachers or friends, or to the store or restaurants.
- What is the best thing/snack you’ve eaten during quarantine? The best thing I’ve eaten during quarantine is really hard. Every meal is great.
- What is your favorite thing to do during quarantine? My favorite thing to do during quarantine is swim in the river, ride bikes, kayak, climb trees and play in the barn.

- What is the corona virus? The corona virus is like a really bad cold that some people can get and it usually has strong effect on older people and people who are already sick.
- Who is our president? Our president is Donald Trump.
- How long have we been in lockdown? 54 days probably, maybe 60. I don’t know. A long time is all I know.
- Do you want school to start back up? Yes, I want school to start back up so I can see all my friends again.
- Who is the first person you will hug when this is over? The first person I will hug is Malloy because I can hug my mom and dad anytime and who knows when this will be over.
- Where is the first place you’d like to go when this is over? The first place I want to go is to a zoo.
- How can we get rid of the corona virus? People have to stay quarantined and they need to figure out all of the people who have it.
- Are Mommy and Daddy good teachers? Yes, they are both real good.
- How did the Corona virus start? I don’t know but I’m pretty sure it started in China.
- What kind of protective clothing would you wear if you had to wear some? If I had to wear protective clothing I would want it to be something that won’t make me so hot. The masks make you so hot.
- Are you enjoying lockdown? Kind of. I like it because I do a lot of fun stuff here and I’m not in school as long so I can spend more time with my family playing and I can read more. I don’t like it because I can’t see my friends.
- What is the best thing/snack you’ve eaten during quarantine? The best thing I’ve eaten during quarantine is hard to decide. Probably the triple layer brownies my mom makes.
- What is your favorite thing to do during quarantine? My favorite thing to do during quarantine is either play volleyball in the barn, play outside or read.
Fiona-age 8

- Who is our president? Our president is Donald Trump.
- How long have we been in lockdown? This is hard…45 days maybe? Is that a good guess?
- Do you want school to start back up? Yes, I want school to start back up so I can see my teacher and all my friends again. But also no, because real school takes so much longer and school at home lets me play in the barn and exercise my body more.
- Who is the first person you will hug when this is over? The first person I will hug is Mrs. Tripp.
- Where is the first place you’d like to go when this is over? The first place I want to go is to Hawaii.
- How can we get rid of the corona virus? We can rid of the corona virus by washing our hands, staying healthy, eating our vegetables and exercising our body.
- Are Mommy and Daddy good teachers? Yes, they are good teachers because they inspire me in everything I do and they are nice and they are good teachers also because they help me learn things like math that is super hard.
- How did the Corona virus start? It started in China on a boat.
- What kind of protective clothing would you wear if you had to wear some? I would wear a rain jacket and a mask.
- Are you enjoying lockdown? Yes and no. Yes because I can spend more time with my family and I get to try new stuff like shrimp and lots of the new foods mommy has made. It’s all really good. I like playing volleyball with mom, getting to ride the go kart and kayak. I also don’t like it because I am away from my friends and teacher.
- What is the best thing/snack you’ve eaten during quarantine? The best thing I’ve eaten during quarantine are the crepes mommy makes us sometimes. They are so good.
- What is your favorite thing to do during quarantine? My favorite thing to do during quarantine is play volleyball, ride the go kart, kayak and go on hikes to swim in the river, take Gi Gi out and spend time with family.

- Who is our president? Our president is Donald Trump.
- How long have we been in lockdown? Probably 100 days.
- Do you want school to start back up? Yes, I want school to start back because I love Miss Megan and I miss my friends.
- Who is the first person you will hug when this is over? The first person I will hug is Miss Megan. (pre-school teacher)
- Where is the first place you’d like to go when this is over? The first place I want to go is to the dollar store.
- How can we get rid of the corona virus? We can rid of the corona virus by eating healthy, brushing our teeth and washing our hands.
- Are Mommy and Daddy good teachers? Yes, they are good teachers but Miss Megan, Miss Amy and Miss Lisa are my favorite teachers.
- How did the Corona virus start? I don’t know.
- What kind of protective clothing would you wear if you had to wear some? I would wear a wet suit, my Explorer hat and a mask and I’ll bring a dolphin with me.
- Are you enjoying lockdown? I really want to go to the dollar store because it’s so fun, you can get good things there like slime and squishy toys. But I like playing at home with my mom, dad and the kids.
- What is the best thing/snack you’ve eaten during quarantine? The best thing I’ve eaten during quarantine is mommy’s cookies.
- What is your favorite thing to do during quarantine? My favorite thing to do during quarantine is going on hikes to the river because I swim in the river and find skulls.

On days I am in class teaching my other students the kids will put themselves through workouts run by the kids themselves. So good!
Fletcher said the jump jacks are his favorite.
Daddy made up cool games today with our giant kick ball and everyone got a chance! Good times!
The highlight of the day…our amazing performance…”Be Our Guest”. Fiona wanted to do this for days now and she roped Ellen into joining her. They giggled upstairs for an hour practicing. Loved every second of the whole thing!
Fletcher was a huge fan. He watched it three times. He has also made them promise he can be in the next performance!
